In case you haven't noticed, boomerangs are the most useful tower in the game!

Boomerang Monkeys are certainly very helpful in this game, but different people can use other towers to make them even more useful you know.
The only good strategy I can think of is: "Keep a calm mind and think it through."
Though you should have posted this in the Bloons TD Battles sub-forum.
There's not a single way to achieve greatness in this game, every player must upgrade their character to best suit THEIR unique fighting style... My style of fighting zombies will most likely not work for most.

If you have 500 battle score, have this loadout, dependent on tracks.
Dry: Boomerang, Mortar, Banana Farm, Spike Factory
Water: Boomerang, Mortar, Banana Farm, Buccaneer.
For Rally track replace the banana farm with ninja because you can fit only 1 farm and it's not really cost effective.Rank 93 in BTD5. Accepted DCs on profile, I have 50.

Here's what I use on Ying Yang: Sniper, Apprentice, Boomerang, Buccaneer. A SAR is incredibly helpful on that map.

I use Boomers, Wizards, Spike Factories, and Mortars.
Boomers: Crowd Control
Wizard: Camo Detection
SF: MOAB destruction
Mortar: Crowd Control/Slightly Better Camo Detection
This doesn't work a lot of the times, though. I usually die early (3-6) or late (18-22), almost never in between those. Can someone help me tweak this to be better at game sent Ceramics and early Pinks/Blacks?

Boomers: Crowd control
Apprentice: Camo crowd control
Factory: Life Saver
Misc: No use. (Maybe I'll go with mortar or ice...)
Here's how I do. The weakness is kinda obvious.
Start out with 0/0 SF.
Get a 2/0 boomer ASAP.
Depending on when round 1 was finished, send 12/13 spaced blues.
Upgrade the boomer to 3/0.
Spam bottom-row bloons.
Get a 2/1 apprentice.
Get another 2/1 apprentice, still spamming blacks/leads/zebras. Make them regen if it's more effective.
Now it's freestyle defending and building. I should really get a better defense...
